Switched all my feeders over to this mix, and we've had a very steady crowd of hummingbirds providing delightful entertainment. This nectar solved two concerns I had with other recipes/mixes:
1- No boiling required - simply mix directly with tap water. I have even poured the dry mix directly into the feeder, added water, & given it a few shakes to mix - worked just great with no mess!
2- No red dyes - I definately didn't want to be poisoning the hummers with artificial dyes/chemicals, so did my research to find a 'healthy, natural' mix that I could feel good about providing.
