I ordered a Puppia harness for my rat terriers because they are recommended for small dogs and supposed to be more comfortable than a regular harness. The only time my dogs wear their harnesses is when we are out for a walk or when we are traveling - if we're just at home I take them off because they don't need them and they come when called within our yard space. Within approximately three months the black and white polka dot Puppia harness was falling apart at the seams, you could see the foam batting inside, and it was just no longer wearable. I was totally disappointed that a harness of this price with such great "following" fell to shreds so soon. I replaced it with a Lupine harness - Lupine Tickled Pink Roman Harness 1/2"wide Adjusts 12"-20" - and have had that harness ever since without any signs of wear on it at all yet!

I have this in black/dotty, size Medium, for my mini dachshund and it great. We have tried even other Puppia harnesses and this one fits the best. My dog is in-between sizes in the standard mesh Puppia harnesses. The "Dotty" version fabric is less stretchy so the Med. is perfect. I am coming back to buy another one of these!

Great product. My small dog has always coughed when walking on a leash even though he doesn't seem to be pulling that hard. This harness has helped tremondously. Also - it is sturdy and doesn't cover too much of the body so that he can stay cool.
