Excellent value! August 23, 2010 Melissa This product is well made and relatively inexpensive. It is very comfortable for my dog, and she can't slip out of it like other harnesses. I will buy from this seller and manufacturer again.
awesome July 7, 2010 becca i have a 70lb chocolate Labrador.
it fits very good.she can sit,go around window to window and lie down, what helps a lot.
very safe.
i love it
Great for 70 pound labradoodle March 31, 2010 K. Wetherholt (Hazel Green, AL) This product takes the pressure off the neck of my mom's dog when he strains too much during group hikes. Two other brands were tried but they did not fit Scruffy's tall, lanky body type as well as this one.
Good fit, wrong color February 2, 2010 Jessica L. Feeny (NY) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a good fit and nice harness, but they sent me the wrong colors!! I ordered a medium in pink, it was sent in black, and a large in black and that was sent in pink! We were in a hurry and got them right before we relocated out of state, but it was quite embarrassing for a large male boxer to be walked around in a pink harness. But, you have to do what you have to do.
Nice product, but be weary of getting exactly what you ordered.
pretty good product January 6, 2010 Debbie (New York) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I selected this harness because I think it's important to protect your dog in the car in case of accident, as well as keep him from becoming a hazard to people (both by being a 40 pound projectile in a sudden stop and to keep him from unexpectedly deciding to leap into the driver's lap.) I liked this one more than others I've seen because it has a broad, slightly padded chest protector rather than a narrow strap across the chest. That seems much less likely to cause injury in an accident. The price was also excellent, and it came with the seat belt strap and a carrying case. We often use it for a walking harness as well as in the car. Here's what I didn't like: cars don't have simple lap belts anymore--seat belts that include the shoulder strap prevent the dog's belt from moving naturally. My pup once turned and got stuck in a position that pinched painfully and the belt wouldn't "give." (As I write this, I'm thinking that maybe i could try looping the dog belt around one part of the car belt rather than using the harness's built in loop.) He also got stressed once when we went away and left him with a friend; by the time the friend had driven home (1 hour), the dog had bitten clean through the harness. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they were very snippy, saying that that was not "normal use." If they don't think biting is normal for dogs, they don't know dogs! I think you should be able to drive for one hour without worrying about the security of the harness/belt. I took it to a shoemaker and had it repaired for $10 and there hasn't been a repeat of that problem. So, on balance, it's a pretty good product. I'm still looking but i haven't seen one as good for anywhere near the price.
