Dog totally uninterested in these September 9, 2010 Graymare My dog was totally uninterested in this treat. I encouraged her to at least put it in her mouth, and she promptly spit it out.
vet-approved August 31, 2010 Kathy After finding that our Westie was suffering from dietary problems the vet approved food with limited additives. This treat was the only one that was approved. Sophie is absolutely nuts about "sweet potato chews ". Besides being very difficult to find this product is also a bit "pricey". The price here on Amazon beats any store prices we have found. Price - free shipping - and a happy Westie make purchasing this treat hard to beat. Thanks Amazon !!!
Vitality Sweet Potato Treat August 29, 2010 dora My two dogs love this treat. Quality seems to be very good. Amazon price is very competitive.
Made in China and my dogs got sick August 18, 2010 Nomadic PC User (Anaheim, CA) Maybe what the box claims is true, no additive, no coloring, etc. However I did not notice it was made in China until I have looked at the bottom tip of the bag. Using tiny font size (more like 6pt), it states the product is made in China. While I appreciate the honesty, I could not trust the quality of the sweet potato itself. And I found that out after feeding a couple of them to my dogs. I am not stating all Chinese products are bad. However, most of produce I have dealt with came with great disappointment. To make matters worse, My two little dogs got sick. I have stopped feeding them and now they are ok. I still have 4 bags left but I plan to throw them away.
I call it puppy crack July 11, 2010 Corinne (Carrboro, NC) Ruby gets one of these after she goes potty, she loves them will do anything thing for them. I do however wish they were organic because non organic chicken is not really good for her, it increases your chance of cancer and makes tumors grow. If they ever went organic it would be the only treats I would buy her.
